New Money Honey's filly
New Money HoneyApril 6th, 2020
It is with great sadness we share with you that New Money Honey’s filly has been humanely euthanized. Foal Patrol received a letter from Rood and Riddle equine hospital outlining the events that led to this difficult decision. She had recovered well from her colic surgery, but several days later developed abdominal discomfort. Her second surgery showed extensive scar tissue formations, involving multiple areas of the gastrointestinal tract. After considering all options, it was the kindest decision to make for the filly. We support the veterinary team at Rood and Riddle, the farm and the owners in their decision. New Money Honey continues to recover from her c-section. The farm is currently on limited staff due to the Covid-19 pandemic and the camera is shut down indefinitely.
Thank you for following Foal Patrol. At this time, we ask that you kindly respect the privacy of the owners and farm staff. If you have any questions, please contact the Museum directly at firstname.lastname@example.org
