The Malibu Moon colt out of Janae, featured on Foal Patrol Season 4, is pictured here earlier this winter. We are happy to share the yearling is thriving at Safari North in Versailles, Kentucky, and we wish him the best in upcoming sales prep!
For those of you who tuned in to Foal Patrol Season 4, here's a little update on Safari North's featured mare, Janae. In foal to Mitole and due the second week of April, Janae is the farm’s last mare due this season. We wish Janae and her connections the best with her upcoming foaling!
Janae gave birth to her Malibu Moon colt in the early hours of April 17th. Both mare and foal are healthy and doing well. The foal's hind leg was wrapped to relax his tendon, so the pastern is at a better angle. This is fairly common in foals and should not affect his development at all. Stay tuned for more updates!
Janae will deliver her Malibu Moon foal any time now. Will we get two foals two days in a row? We certainly hope so! Watch the video below for an update from Safari North.
